What are Modular Buildings?
Modular construction can be simply defined as a procedure of building an entire building (module) or large sections in a factory setting, before they are transported to and positioned on a prepared site, forming a building such as a home or an office block.
Our modular buildings are A Rated, passive buildings that include triple glazed windows providing an unrivalled level of energy efficiency. Modular units are fully constructed in the factory providing a full turnkey solution to include bathrooms, kitchens, bedrooms, plumbing and electrics. These completed modular buildings are transported by truck from the factory and lifted into their final position on site. The pre-serviced foundations are prepared by the client.
Multiples of modular units can be combined to create larger buildings suitable for apartment blocks, schools and office buildings.
Modular buildings are structures that are constructed offsite in a controlled factory environment, using prefabricated modules that are assembled together in the factory. The modules are designed to fit together seamlessly, and the building can be completed in a fraction of the time required for traditional construction methods.
Modular buildings can be used for a wide range of purposes, including residential homes, commercial buildings, healthcare facilities, educational facilities, and more. They offer a range of benefits over traditional construction methods, including faster construction times, lower costs, and greater flexibility in design.
Modular buildings are also highly energy-efficient, with excellent insulation and airtightness. This means that they are cheaper to heat and cool, which can result in significant cost savings over the lifetime of the building.
